There are two main ways to reach the top. The more direct route is a staircase that takes about 10 to 15 minutes, while the gentler uphill path takes around 30 minutes.

There are so many great sandwich shops in Florence. We ended up at the popular All’Antico Vinaio, and it was well worth it. The lines can be long, but if you go outside of peak hours, you can usually order without much of a wait. The fresh bread and quality ingredients make the sandwich.
Pro Tip
The menu favorites are classics for a reason. If you're as indecisive as I am, you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu.
