Must-see stops for this place.

Cours Saleya Market
01 Farmers Market

Cours Saleya Market

I could have stayed here for hours. This market seemed to have everything; meats, cheeses, produce, flowers, and plenty of local specialties. Hours vary depending on what you're looking for, but on Mondays it turns into a large antique and flea market.

Pro Tip

Don't miss the socca! A traditional chickpea "pancake" may not sound all that exciting, but it's absolutely delicious. I highly recommend trying it from Chez Thérésa. Her team was constantly bringing out fresh trays from their store. I loved it so much that I even tried making it at home.

Le Plongeoir
02 Restaurant

Le Plongeoir

Perched on a rock right above the sea, this restaurant has incredible views and delicious food. Everything was extremely fresh and the service was top-notch. Make sure to check out the diving boards that were built in 1941.

Pro Tip

While they do take walk-ins, I would make a reservation and do it well in advance if you are going during high season.

Parc de la Colline du Chateau
03 Lookout

Parc de la Colline du Chateau

Head up on the waterfall side and wander towards the Port de Nice. There is a cemetery and a few viewpoints on the way. Great place to see all of old town.

Old Town

Spend some time walking around Old Town. There are some really cool hidden stores and restaurants to find as you explore.

Pro Tip

Check out Cathedrale Sainte Reparate right in the center of town!
