Must Sees

Must-see stops for this place.

Grand Palace
01 Tourist Attraction

Grand Palace

Located in the center of town, this is the perfect area to roam. There are tons of restaurants, historical statues, and stores to go into. A very walkable town.

Pro Tip

The best Belgium waffles are just off the main square!

Ricotta and Parmesan
02 Restaurant

Ricotta and Parmesan

I don't like to admit how often I think about this pasta. It was a truffle cream pasta. Can't recommend it enough. Super cute atmosphere with utensils lining the walls.

Pro Tip

Definitely worth making a reservation.

Maison Dandoy
03 Tourist Attraction

Maison Dandoy

This is one of the most recommended Belgium waffle locations in town and I understand why. Crispy exterior with a soft inside. My favorite waffle of the trip...had to go twice.

Pro Tip

They work fast! Wait out the line if there is one.

Delirium Village
04 Pub

Delirium Village

A million beer options here. They seriously have a beer for everyone, even beer haters. They will let you try them so you can narrow down the options! Seven of the eight Delirium pubs are located in a dead-end alleyway. Delirium Café is the main one but you can pop into them all. They each have their own atmosphere and some of them specialize in different spirits.

Pro Tip

Let the workers help you pick a beer. They found me one I liked when I swore I hated beer.

Gare du Midi Market
05 Farmers Market

Gare du Midi Market

A lively market filled with local produce, regional specialties, and plenty to explore. Supposedly one of Europe's larges open-air markets.

Pro Tip

A great selection of food stalls offering a variety of local dishes. Open on Sunday from 7am to 2pm.
