An elevated flea market with antiques, handmade crafts, jewelry, souvenirs, and much more. There's something for nearly everyone. Plan to spend a few hours browsing the market.

Pro Tip

If you want to walk downhill, start at from Plaza de Cascorro and head down towards Ronda de Toledo. The market operates on Sunday's and public holidays from 9am-3pm.

Parque de El Retiro

Parque de El Retiro

Nearly 300 acres of parkland with plenty to explore. Don't miss the boats at Estanque Grande del Buen Retiro or the Palacio de Cristal. The park is filled with gardens, fountains, walking paths, and open spaces.

Pro Tip

Boats are 6€ on weekdays and 8€ on weekends and public holidays.

Chocolateria San Gines

Chocolateria San Gines

Known to be Madrid's most famous churro location. Established in 1894 this spot is cranking out churros with thick cups of chocolate for dipping.

Pro Tip

The line might be long but the employees work fast. The chocolate is a must!

La Terraza Casa Dani

La Terraza Casa Dani

One of Madrid's most popular traditional Spanish-style tortilla de patatas. You can get it with or without onions. in 3 different sizes, and the service is quick. Be prepared for a slightly runny center. This is what gives it a desirable texture and consistency.

Pro Tip

There are two locations side by side. Casa Dani offers indoor seating, while La Terraza Casa Dani has outdoor seating. Both serve the same menu, so if one is full, it's worth checking the other.
